Friday 9/14/18, 08:00am - 5:00pm
Oregon Grape Room, 6 Participants, $900
The trees for this all-day workshop were collected in the highlands of the Colorado Rockies by professional bonsai artist Todd Schlafer. The trees were found on a rare geological feature known as a fin*, and are the last of their kind from that area. Colorado Blue Spruce is the hardiest of our native Spruce. These trees make excellent bonsai material, especially under the artistic guidance of Ryan Neil, resulting in a one-of-a-kind workshop.
* A fin is a narrow, residual wall of hard sedimentary rock that remains standing after surrounding rock has been eroded, developing many vertical, parallel cracks.
THIS WORKSHOP IS SOLD OUT. TO BE ADDED TO THE WAITLIST, USE THE BUTTON BELOW THE TREE ON THE RIGHT.
